Who is the Experience For?

Not every programme is for everyone. Emotional ER will be perfect for people who...

  • Are interested in expanding your emotional intelligence and already see the potential benefits of building your communication skills.

  • Are creative and have some sort of creative practice or experience and generally enjoy creative expression.

  • Are able to attend the one-to-one and group sessions weekly, investing at least two hours per week in the sessions and up to four hours per week for the lessons and practices at home.

The programme is trauma-informed, inclusive and neurodivergent friendly.

You must be English-speaking and able to attend during BST.

What are the next steps when I buy?

When you join Emotional ER you are required to begin payments in advance to secure your place on the programme. An account will be created at Love School and you will receive the next steps communication from us via email.

We will be in touch to request you complete an enrollment questionnaire and include any preferences or special needs for sessions. Later we will confirm details of dates and times of sessions all via email.

When you have an account you can contact Terri directly through our internal messaging system or by replying to any of our emails.

Communication will begin in September & sessions are planned to run through October into November with TWO weekly sessions. (Your personalised one-to-one and a group session).

  • In the group sessions, we cover theory, introduce the topics and answer general questions. We will also have the option to support each other and share our experiences from the previous week.

  • In your one-to-one sessions, we personalise this and make each lesson relevant to your life, and personal struggles or questions. We make sure you know how to best put the lesson into practice to suit your needs and lifestyle.

  • You will also have access to this Love School course which will update each week with the theory, suggested exercises and any relevant connected information and worksheets.

How do I Prepare for the Experience?

To make the most of the experience please consider if you have the time and space to devote to the process.

You will also need some basic creative tools.

These don't have to be specialist items but the more you have something you are excited about using, the more you are going to enjoy the process. However, any tool will do!

We use our creative minds to tap into the potential of every circumstance!

You will need:

  • Access to the internet and a way to be involved in sessions either via phone, computer or laptop.

  • A journal or notebook

  • A pen or pencil

  • Paint, coloured pens or some sort of artistic medium you prefer.

  • Paper or light cardboard

  • You may need a printer if you prefer to have printed rather than digital reference material.

  • A private space with room to move.

  • Comfortable clothes.

What is the Schedule?

The programme is due to open on January 2nd 2025 with an initial at-home practice to prepare for the experience.

Lessons will begin the following week and be released on Monday. The first on 6th January at 9am.

The group sessions will be scheduled for a Friday at 7.30pm. The first one begins on 10th January. The last session will be on Friday 21st February. Group sessions are planned to be 60-90 minutes.

One to One sessions will be scheduled individually and preferably on a Monday or Thursday afternoon or evening. Personal sessions are planned to be 45 minutes.
