Considering suicide, attempting or recovering from surviving suicide is a huge life experience that can leave us feeling utterly lost and confused.
Especially when most of the talk around usage is labelling you as mentally ill, framing you as insane or designed to soothe the survivors of successful attempts.
But in this space, we consider something radically and entirely different.
That you likely considered suicide for a valid reason.
Your life has probably been stressful and confusing, and you may well have experienced trauma or situations that make life seem too difficult to endure at times.
And that doesn't make you crazy, ill or insane!
What it does make you is insightful, vulnerable and probably in need of some support and direction.
This course is an introduction to creating a survival strategy and realigning your mind toward solutions and change after facing suicidal thoughts, ideation, attempts, or survival.
I use my personal experience to create it and offer the insights I learned about surviving that got me to a point where I actually enjoy life, can be present with it, and experience wellness.
This process, to move beyond the grip of suicide, is a recovery journey, and it requires healing work and a life change to recover.
And this is not an ultimate solution... it is a first stepping stone to a new possibility.

Hi, I'm Terri Lee-Shield. I am a suicide survivor and the host here at Love School.
I have been able to recover and heal from a string of challenging, traumatic experiences over the course of my lifetime since childhood, and I have found that following my own process was helpful.
I share natural practices and suggest processes that help to manage life's challenges, support recovery from harmful patterns, and heal from trauma & abuse.
My personal experience is in overcoming:
Mental health issues - depression, anxiety, and suicide.
Addiction - alcohol, smoking, cannabis, pain killers, energy drinks, and work.
Neurodivergent diagnoses - EUPD, ADHD.
Chronic Health diagnosis - Fibromyalgia.
Abuse - domestic (partner), childhood sexual abuse, bullying.
Childhood neglect
Homelessness
Victimisation - Crime such as burglary, assault, rape.
Bereavement and loss - Pregnancy loss, family bereavement, and losing businesses/projects.
